Toshiba NB550D releases with the New AMD Ontario APU

Toshiba's Newest release of Netbook doesn't come up with intel's ULV chip but packs with AMD's Ontario APU. I've been ignoring what APU is all about, a quick google on the keyword doesn't reveal any wiki which I've been depending to but instead an information direct from the source came out as well. Here in the Philippines, AMD is not a big name compared to Intel. Most likely geeks alike and fellow technical people would only that AMD is such a big name. AMD is also associated with power hungry chips so more netbooks rely on Intel's ATOM. Good thing is Ontario APU would probably give Intel some fair competition because of the low voltage output and a (CPU + GPU) combo for some semi extensive work processing.

Cownon D3 plenue, so what is this thing?

I've been interested to those korean cellphones released in the market and Cownon's not an exception to this. It's Definitely one of the new companies in koreas specializing in multimedia. Though I don't understand on what their products is all about, I've been attracted to their designs in their line of products. Anyway guys, If you do understand korean or if you happen to own any cownon device then please something on the comment section below and provide us some Information on what this thing is all about. Asus tablet notebooks on the line for CES

Before it has been released for viewing and inspection in CES 2011, ASUS just released some eye candy to the public with it's pictures of ASUS tablet on the line with no further information on specs and prices. Just like Samsung's Galaxy Player taking the hype on the internet, I guess other companies are getting the same idea of it so ASUS alike had released some good photos of their upcoming devices.

Blackberry Style 9670, Envious here!

I know Filipinos have bad reputation with flip-tops also known as clamshell phones because they easily get broke. But this blackberry clamshell device is such an extreme eyecandy to me and made me realize I just wanna have this baby really bad. Introducing the blackberry style or blackberry 9670, It's one of those great phones that comes with great package as you all know, it's blackberry and it's definitely different from other manufacturers. Of course it's bundled with it's very own blackberry OS but the difference is that it's the newest blackberry OS 6 from RIM. I haven't own a blackberry berry so I'm not a good judge over this. Basically an upgrade to OS5 which is dominantly used by most blackberry users here in the Philippines. Most filipinos own the 8520 curve or the sexy 9300. I guess it's also the very first blackberry phone which is a fliptop and I'd say it's a pretty good move by blackberry. The form factor is absolutely brilliant with the size almost the same as the previous blackberry's. The QWERTY keypad is very blackberry-ish and the way i looked at it in the picture I instantly know that it's the blackberry signature style. Anyway guys, it's really rare to find this phone here in Philippines yet, because it's a newly released one and blackberry trend is just starting to spark. The way I look at it this will be in a price range of 22K based from it's specs. If you really want it, then grey market I think is the way to go.

Samsung Galaxy Player will Debut on CES 2011

Before the largest consumer technology trade show happens, Samsung already announced it's new galaxy device that will appear in CES this 2011. The only difference it makes is that it's not the usual Galaxy Phone which competes with the smartphone markets.Now it's on a different track by taking on iPhone's iTouch which is probably the most dominant music and applications player right now. Samsung Galaxy Player will be bundled with Android 2.2 (Froyo), 1 Ghz of Processor and an expandable memory of 8-32gb which comes of with an microSD slot if storage is an issue to you.
